Very good brisket here. Priced well for a sit-down restaurant in the city. Excellent service though it wasn't busy. They also have a lot of Christmas decorations/music if you're into that.

Haven’t been here in five years. They have remodeled since the last time I was here. Cozier warmer space. Beware parking is hard to find in this neighborhood. Excellent melt-in-your-mouth brisket. Excellent barbecue sauces. Really kind service also. They gave me a small soup sampler while I was waiting for my togo order. Definitely will be back to try all the other items on the menu

I'm from the south and lamented for years that there were no decent bbq places in San Francisco. It turns out I just hadn't found it. Memphis Minnie's isn't the best bbq I've ever had but it's the best in the Bay Area for sure. Ribs are my go to and they have actual sweet tea and pecan pie.

Ok, I did what I said I wouldn't, and tried to get the chili again. Am I ever glad I did. This time they had some left. Lesson learned. They have such a line, they don't have time for the phone. BEST CHILI IN SAN FRANCISCO! BBQ is really good too. Worth the price and toll fees to get from East Bay. Wish BART or parking were nearer.

My brother and sister-in-law always knows the best places to eat. First time my sister and brother-in-law and I ate here. OMG we ordered the special where we would try everything, and it did not disappoint. The meats and cornbread muffin the best. Will be back soon. Thank you!

They put the comfort in comfort-food, with comfortable prices too. A charming and mouthwatering restaurant with best-in-industry service. The food here is well priced, and if not, a great deal, and is so delicious. This restaurant is the best at fulfilling cravings and indulgence meals on Haight St. The menu is big and dynamic yet all centered around BBQ and comfort food. When you dine in or have to wait for your food, they often serve you a DELICIOUS soup of the day. I have been here dozens of times and the soup is always ungodly good.

While we were in San Francisco on Haight Street we tried an awesome BBQ joint called Memphis Minnie’s. Their BBQ tasted AMAZING. Everything on their menu looked totally delicious. If your ever in San Francisco and want great BBQ give Memphis Minnie’s a try you definitely won’t be disappointed.

Tucked away in the streets of San Francisco is a dive of a place, Memphis Minnie's. With only 5 small tables, this place was made for takeout. My family of four met up with a family of five, and we filled 40% of the room. My family ordered the "VIP party" which consisted of a generous sampling of all of their meats and all of their sides (which was sufficient for 2 adults and 2 pre-teens, plus a to-go box for some late night grazing) The food was really good, but what struck me was the service. The person at the counter (don't know if he's the manager or owner) was very hospitable to the children in our party. Our friends got there before we did, and they told us that when they came in with their two preteens and one 5 year old, the manager brought them a plate of mac and cheese as a "sample". Later in the meal, he even brought a smoke cake - 3 store bought Little Debbie type cakes stuck with some Pocky and 2 candles in a dome filled with smoke (wish I'd taken a picture!).
